RTAC collaborates with various individuals and groups involved in or impacted by early childhood education on Long Island. Proactively working together allows us to pool resources, share and expand upon best practices, and develop comprehensive solutions. Our collective, coordinated approach gives everyone a voice and the ability to affect real change.
Engaging with Long Island community members helps us better understand their unique needs, challenges, perspectives, and aspirations regarding early childhood education. Actively involving the community in decision-making processes and program development is the only way to ensure our initiatives are culturally responsive and relevant, benefitting everyone involved.
To foster cross-sector collaboration among Long Island constituencies involved in early childhood education, RTAC hosts a series of regularly scheduled meetings.
